Biography
Prior to joining Angelo, Kilday & Kilduff, LLP, Mr. Grace worked for a Northern California firm where he specialized in tort and eminent domain. While here, he handled multiple matters on appeal in the Sixth District Court of Appeal, including Meyberg v. City of Santa Cruz (2025 Cal.App.Unpub. LEXIS 5749, affirmed in full). Before working here, Mr. Grace worked for a Los Angeles-based firm where he primarily focused on employment litigation and counseling for private and public entity clients. Mr. Grace began his career as a Deputy Attorney for the State of California, Department of Transportation. Serving in-house for the public agency gave Mr. Grace valuable perspective as he handled a variety of litigation matters from inception to resolution. Mr. Grace defended the Department in high-profile, catastrophic tort cases, including ones that were dismissed via summary judgment and others that went to jury verdict.
Mr. Grace’s interest in, and pursuit of, public law, constitutional litigation and public entity work began during his time at the UCLA School of Law. He worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the ACLU of Southern California and the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. In addition, he was a founding board member of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal and participant of the UCLA School of Law’s Public Interest Law and Policy Program. Mr. Grace was also a Writing Advisor in the Lawyering Skills Program at UCLA School of Law.
In his spare time, Mr. Grace likes to mountain climb, cook, and take photographs. Mr. Grace is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is admitted to federal court.
